Crazy Pool Jump Video
Okay, so I will take the time to give all of you a short introduction to myself.
Currently I am studying Computer Science at the University of Karlsruhe. Karlsruhe is maybe 1 hour by car from Frankfurt. I am 25 and I started jumping when I was like 10. My parents live in the very southwest of Germany, next to the boarder to Switzerland. We had a huge public swimming pool where I spent almost every summerday back when I went to school. There I also met Domi, a very good friend of mine who also is a very passionate jumper. He is the other one you can see in the video (blue shorts, red ones for me). Together we explored almost every swimming hall in the area to have some place for training during winter. We found that cozy little hall in Bülach, Switzerland some years ago. This is where the video was recorded.
Unfortunately in my area there are almost no places to do some cliff jumping. We went several times to the Rhine river and did some jumps from trees, but as the stream is quite fast there it is not that ideal. In the surroundings of Karlsruhe there are many man-made lakes but without any cliffs. I saw some people jump from the swimming machines used to dig out thate lakes but haven't tried that myself. Gonna check out if that is cool big grin
