The Pic Graveyard

As time goes on and 12 Feet Under continues to grow in popularity, pics get removed from my pages. I haven't gone through my web folder for spare pics yet so bear with me and I'll try to get some pics up here soon.

Looking up at the 80

That is one sketchy jump! You have a narrow, rounded ledge to jump from and a large rock slab to clear. There's a couple jumps higher than that one here but they're either too sketchy to climb too or a good sized gap

Inverted colors

Inversion

A neat effect for a nice pic. I took it while hiking upstream of Red Rock. There are so many deep water pools along the Santa Ynez River. They are surrounded by Cliffs in most places too!

The shallow Malibu Cliffs

The Shallow Malibu Creek Jump

This cliff is a favorite of mine. It's 60, 72 and 80 feet into 8 feet of water. It requires a banana into the water and you cannot lock your knees. I prefer a reverse tuck-and-roll

Tar Creek

The Cascades, Tar Creek, Los Padres, California

A series of deep pools as long as you're there in Spring. I got flowing mud, this place sucks after wildfires and rain. I also landed on a boulder here. The water visibity was zero and we were not paitent...who knew there was a rock 2 feet from where we were aiming for?!? Not me until afterwards...
