Red Rock, Santa Barbara, California

Take Highway 101 to Santa Barbara. Exit at the hwy 154 exit. Drive over the giant mountain through the San Marcos pass, away from the ocean. After you cross the Cold Springs Arch bridge you will see a right turn labeled Paradise Road. Drive 10 miles on this road and you will see a a sandstone cliff with people jumping off it. This is a very dangerous jump to go big on.
This is The Potholes, they are 1-55 feet high. Cross the creek for the last time and you willl see a sign announcing that you are at the Red Rock Trailhead. Walk past the outdoor toilet and head a quarter mile down the path and there's Red Rock, one of the highest cliff jumping rocks in the area. The Red Rock Pool's jump heights are 10, 30, 40 and 88 feet. This is a nicer swimming hole and there's a larger crowd. There are no waterfalls here at all, and I was kinda bummed out by that, but you can always carry out enough Nephrite Jadestone to make up for the loss.
