This jump, nestled far back in the Los Padres Forest, is remote but has a well traveled trail, being one of the most popular cliff jumps in the Southern California area. It's water is comprised of snow melt and can be quite chilly, making it invigorating in the 100+ heat. The scenery is beautiful and there are even rough camp spots. It has no running water, bathroom pits or rangers. The best way to describe this place is a giant crack in the ground. There are 2 jumpable 25-30 foot waterfalls and a series of cascades. Both of those cliff jumps are extremely sketchy. There is a mellow 20 foot jump at the base of the lower waterfall. The deep part of the pool is round and only about 20 feet wide. When you look high overhead you see 3 cliff jumps that start at just over 100 feet. There are lower ledges but it would require a tremendous faith in your rock climbing abilities, help is a 4 mile hike away. There is also a 90 foot waterslide further up the canyon. Just follow the trail that goes up the mountain and always take the right hand path, it should be 2 miles upstream from The Punchbowls. There are two beautiful waterfalls on the right and middle fork. The middle fork is also one of the best adventure hikes in the area though it is an extreme feat. There are also natural springs, dinosaur fossils and oil bubbling up to the surface. This is a great spot nestled behind Thomas Aquinas College in Santa Paula, California.
