Awesome Place!
Wildwood State Park is a unique recreational area with a wide range of plant and animal life. Long, relaxing trails with very interesting history along the way is plenty to keep you busy till you reach the Paradise Falls. This is prime cave territory too in addition to the Indian Cave which is clearly marked there are two others. One is rumored to have petroglyphs and is quite large. The main entrance is under lock and key but a determined cave hunter might be able to find another entrance! The other one is directly under the jump, which is completely hollow. A good pair of swimming goggles would help find underwater caves. We found more caves downstream at Man's Jump, two underwater, one aboveground and a manmade tunnel. Once you reach the Paradise Falls there is usually green moss flooding around it, don't worry it wont hurt you. Park Rangers will come and ask you not to cliff jump, due to the water pollution. Be polite and they will leave but if you get caught Cliff jumping again you will be escorted out. There is a good 30ft cliff with an additional 40ft rock that sits on it. The water is mostly deep around the waterfall, but we have jumped all around it, but Be Warned!! I advise you to do a good water check. Wildwood is a huge place with tons of hiking, there is rumor of even more rock jumps there, a nautral waterslide and maybe a tree jump. They are along Indian Creek, which is also the back way in when the park is closed. There are two really tight hits and at least two more swimmingholes.

The park is open to visitors daily from 7:00 A.M. to sunset, depending on conditions. Parking lots are open weekdays from 8:00A.M. To 5:00 P.M. weekend from 8:30 A.M. The only reason this place closes is when the trails are muddy, they dry out in a couple of days!

Enjoy and remember don't swallow the water
