I Need Help!
This Guest Blog is a feature heavy application compared to my old guest books. It’s basically the same thing just presented slightly differently. The new things are password and title. The old guest book asked for name, email, location and actual comment. This guest blog asks for you to sign in ( name ) with a password ( new ). You are now at the “dashboard” or Administration Panel. You can click on your profile to add biographical data about yourself along with other information. These bits of info ( email, location etc. ) are now attached, via hyperlink, to your name when you make a post or comment on a post ( when signed in all you are prompted for is the comment body ).
Now you can also publish a post ( comment ). This is a two step process for contributors but authors can publish on their own. You can also view what’s going on in the rest of my blogosphere. When you choose to write a post you are prompted for title ( new ) and post ( comment ). Adding media is extremely easy via the add media buttons. The remaining buttons are to style your posts. You can find out what each button does by mousing over it for a second. You will even have access to things like the Gallery shortcode {More on this later}. You can either submit your post for review or publish it when done writing. You can even save a draft and finish it later.
I will expand the help section as I become more conversant with the features wordpress offers or add new features.
